Environmental Policy Statement: Selection of Materials
It is the objective of Space 4 Learning to contribute where possible to adopt a responsible attitude to protecting the environment by developing innovative and sustainable design solutions. We collaborate to develop and adopt best practice sustainable development.
Wherever possible we endeavour to design and build utilising materials which are durable, economic and don’t require significant amounts of energy to produce. Removing or reducing any environmental impacts associated with a product or a service is carried out at design / quotation stage.
By using less materials and energy; using non-toxic materials; designing a product that can be disassembled at the end of its normal life means components are re-cycled or re-used and retain residual value.
